When you’ve had it up to here with people walking all over you

Happy Sunday!

Before I start, there’s 37! days left to election day and this is just to remind you to register to vote if you haven’t already. THERE’S DEADLINES TO REGISTER TO VOTE, check with your state what they are and please stay on top of that. Here’s a few helpful links to help you get started:

Secondly, please sign this petition on Change.org by Trisha Kehaulani Watson-Sproat TO DELAY filling RBG’s seat in the Supreme Court until after the election. You can find the link to that below:

If you’re just now waking up to the fact that your kindness, and how you strive to treat people well, has somehow turned you into a doormat you’re not alone. The bigger reason you’re upset (it was for me at least) is that you don’t understand how it took you so long to finally get fed up. I felt like the biggest dumbass in the world and that’s probably how you’re feeling too. You’re not. You’re also not the first person this has happened to so don’t let how you’re feeling isolate you. Learn from your experience. Now you know. Moving forward stick up for yourself more, set more boundaries, be firm when you need to be but most importantly, DON’T TRY AND CHANGE what’s good about you because you think it makes you weak. If you turn into a jerk, that’s when you’ll truly be weak.

Here’s other posts on Forming Healthy Boundaries and Confrontation.

I welcome your feedback, please comment any thoughts you might have on this. Otherwise, thank you for reading, have a great weekend, and see you next time.

Hi, nice to meet you I'm Paula. I created Your Welltivity because I've been wanting to share what I know about wellness for the longest. I got introduced to wellness through physical fitness and nutrition (my two strongest facets of wellness actually because my background is in these two areas). But over the years, I got into health as a whole and wanted to learn more about everything that intersects to make a person healthy. So I learned that things like your environment, your mental health, etc. all come to play, and I just kept getting deeper and deeper into it because (to put it plainly) this shit's fascinating. I'm no expert though. I'm still learning, and plan to stay learning because there's so much to learn about wellness. While I do that though, I thought I'd share what I do know. Thanks for stopping by to get to learn a little bit about me, email me if you'd like at paula.yourwelltivity@gmail.com, I'd like to hear from you :) Follow Your Welltivity on Instagram @yourwelltivity. Follow me on Instagram if you'd like @a_m_paula Thank you again for your time, have a lovely and blessed day.
